Evening programs are free, public programs on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May, offered online via Zoom. Program begins at 7:30 p.m. Find the link to register for them on the home page of this website each month as the date approaches.

Outings are open to everyone, not just members. All levels of expertise, from beginners to experienced botanizers, are welcome. Address questions about physical requirements to the leader. It is wise to contact the leader before the trip, in case plans change.  We follow county covid advice regarding masks and group size.

Fall is the perfect time to plant natives. They will settle in with the winter rain and provide support for pollinators and other wildlife for years to come.

Native plant experts will be available to answer any questions as you shop. Our demonstration garden will also be open and show-cases a range of drought-tolerant California native plants.

In addition to native plants, our chapter will also be selling our popular California Pitcher Plant t-shirts, gardening aprons made from upcycled soil bags, tote bags, posters and Native Plant signage.These would make great gifts for any plant lovers in your life!

Participating native plant growers for this sale are: Samara Restoration, Lost Foods, Mattole Restoration Council, Beresford Bulbs, Brants Plants and Bob Vogt.

Methods of Payment:

Due to conductivity issues on site, cash or check is preferred. Credit cards are also accepted.

Things to Bring:
