November 13, 7:30โ9:00 p.m.
The native plant movement is changing the way we see our relationship to nature. By growing natives we can turn our yards into habitat for birds and butterflies. Lynne Abels will speak on how to create a beautiful garden of varied plant communities, and how to plan gardens that require less maintenance than lawns. She and her brother, Paul Abels, renovated the native plant garden at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center. Attend at Six Rivers Masonic Lodge, 251 Bayside Rd., Arcata, refreshments at 7:00, program at 7:30 p.m., or join by Zoom.
