Wildflower Weekend is 1st weekend in May


You are invited to share your Wildflower Art
• ‘Visit to Admire, Make & Take’ your wildflower art in Little Free Wildflower Art Galleries throughout the community. Here’s your guide to little free wildflower galleries!

• Make any Wildflower images (any media, yes, photos, yarn, etc, will do!) for Little Free Wildflower Galleries approx. 3” x 3”, display-ready. Creative, free and fun for everyone and all ages, plus, you come home with Wildflower art made by others.
• Wildflower Art-Making Events: • Start your free Wildflower Art-making at Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center, 569 South G St, Arcata. March 30, 1-4pm. Everyone welcome.
• Kick off ArtShareApril with a free flower-making craftercise event during April Arts Alive at Makers Apron, 317 E Street, Eureka. April 5, 1-8pm. Free for everyone & materials supplied!
• Makers Apron also hosts flower themed ArtShareApril Crafternoons each April Saturday with ‘All you can Craft’ supplies ($10 fee).
• Download a free California Poppy Embroidery Pattern to share in Little Free Wildflower Galleries ~ from the talented April Sproule of Sproule Studios in Fortuna! Additional patterns, workshops & a gallery of works online at Sproule Studios.@sprouleapril on Instagram.
• Play Wildflower Bingo Join the Little Free Wildflower Galleries Art Trail Fun! Check off the squares, share your progress, challenge others!
• On Facebook, join our Facebook group at Wildflower Show Art Share April to view the action and post your Little Free Wildflower Art there, then post to your own Facebook Page adding #freelittlewildflowergallery to share with others.
• On Instagram, follow @littlefreewildflowergallery and post your Wildflower Art to your Instagram feed tagging #littlefreewildflowergallery
• Create & Host a Little Free Wildflower Art Gallery for the month of April! Little Free Libraries are easily converted to galleries for ArtShare April. For ‘how-to’ info, free signs & to add your LFWGallery to the map, contact us at .

And remember, you are invited to join us Friday May 2 for the Wildflower Show Art Night, a chance to paint or draw any of the Wildflower Flower Show specimens prior to the weekend exhibit. Annie Reid and Patricia Sennott will be on hand to host the event, offering assistance and demos if requested. Bring your preferred art supplies, or use materials on hand.
