Wednesday, November 11. When people hear “Siberia”, they imagine a vast snowy wasteland, which is fair, but that’s not the whole story. Daniil Suchkov grew up in a family of backpackers and nature enthusiasts in Eastern Siberia, near Lake Baikal. He wants to share the Siberia he experienced and the parallels he sees on his hikes in Northern California. Six years ago, he moved to the US and has spent the last 4 years in Humboldt County, thoroughly exploring the Klamath Mountains. He is not a professional naturalist but finds great joy in exploring nature and understanding it. Evening Programs are 2nd Wednesdays. Doors open at 5:45.
