    North Coast’s celebration of wild California plants

    2025 theme: Rhododendrons and their Relatives


    • ON DISPLAY: Fresh labeled wildflowers and other wild plants from all over Humboldt and Del Norte. Find out which are native, which are newcomers (introduced) and which are harmful (invasive).
    • ART SHARE APRIL : “Little Free Wildflower Galleries” located across our community. Make & take wildflower art.
    • Art Night – Friday eve, 7-9pm. Come Paint & Sketch Wildflowers on exhibit. A chance to study, up close, wildflowers sometimes difficult to view in person. Patricia Sennott and Annie Reid will be on hand to demonstrate & assist. Bring your preferred art supplies, or use materials on hand.
    • BRING-YOUR-SPECIMENS – Experts will help identify your cuttings or photos of wild plants. (Don’t pick anything rare!)
    • INVASIVE PLANTS – Learn to identify the bad species, and find out what to do about them.
    • POP-UP TALKS – Informal talks given next to a table full of relevant cuttings:
